NEW Options... "Include Songs Database" In Auto Complete Lists - This check box enables using your imported Songs Database Title and Artist names. When disabled, only the Import Local Database is used to create the Title and Artist lists for the Edit Songs, Import CD Tracks and Import HD Files screens. When disabled, this will present the MTU standard Artist and Title names, and build MUCH FASTER. You still have unique "Auto-Complete" options in the 3 screens to disable building and using the lists at all.
AUTO COMPLETE IS ADDED SO WE DON'T HAVE TO TYPE AS MUCH.
MADJIM - I understand what "Auto complete" is! I am trying to understand what I have "underlined". What is the difference in the Artist & Title names when this feature is "enabled/disabled" as explained.
P.S. Some of the features I have been waiting on were promised a couple years ago, so Vista was not an issue.

I'll use Import CDs tool as an example, but all three tools are effected the same way. If you have opened the Import screen put a disc in and enter the required info and click add tracks. When the tracks are added you notice some of the titles or artists are wrong or missing. To edit the information in a block (title or artist) you Right Click to highlight that blocks text and this opens a drop down listing of all the possible choices. If you start typing the listing changes to match what you are typing so that you don't have to type the whole thing but just enough to get the one you need or you can scroll to the correct information if it is available.
This drop-down list is created from the Local database (Bucket) and from your Songs database. You can make this load faster by unchecking the referred to box which will make it only use the Bucket to populate the list.
I don't think that MTU has ever promised any specific added capabilities. They have always said they will look at it and see if they can do it. And if so then it will be added to the list of items to be included in a future upgrade. Considering that the things you are asking for do not have a whole lot of support from the rest of the users as being something they would use I am pretty sure that the priority assigned to those requests have a low priority. That is all I will say on the subject.
As far as the video being included that should be soon. As Jim said it and a few other things have had to be pushed back because of the time and cost of having to fight with Vista. There are only so many man-hours in the day and Vista has MTU running around in circles.
