Please, if you remove all your knowledge of your problem and go back and read what you posted, you will see we have no clue what you are doing or hearing.
We need step by step detailed instructions about the problem.
For example, you say "Those noises that are produced when I import a CDG are upsetting and un-needed". The import process does not play. So give us what you are importing (from an audio CD or CDG disc?) do you have WAV or CDG button selected in the Import Track Tab (to determine what format you are importing), and then what you do to play.
Give us some facts, and we'll try to help you solve the problem. Microeditor is in use worldwide by tens of thousands of users with no problem. The problem is something you are doing, or that is wrong with your computer setup.
