The way I see it you have
nothing to loose by installing 4.0 on your Vista machine. As Lonnie and Dale have pointed out, if 4.0 fails in any way just open 3.40 and carry on.
After reading 7 new posts this morning about problems with 4.0, I've decided to wait a little longer to install & keep reading how everyone else solves their problems. I'm anxious to test the features, but I just don't have that kind of time "to lose" right now!
