Best bet is to leave it all one solid color.
The graphics setting is really meant for the Intermission and audio screens (set in the Intermission tab).

Look at it this way James, you can put an image in the Graphics area of the lyric screen (or a color etc...) and Hoster will put it behind the lyrics that are playing but if the lyrics cover the whole area (like Dale mentioned) you will not see whatever you put there.

In a later release you will be able to make the lyrics run OVER a background image (see the "Transperent" check box that is greyed out). I believe that this is one of the times when what seems to be a "BUG" will be utilized down the road. I may be wrong but these guys (MTU) are good. Hang in there and keep letting MTU know when you find something.

It would be great if everything we wished for showed up at one time in one Hoster release but that's not the way it works. Rest assured that MTU has every reqest to date, written on a pad somewhere and all of them that are feasable WILL be in a future version of Hoster. I feel I can tell you with confidence that Hoster 4.0 IS the karaoke hosting program to beat AS IS, but wait until MTU get's it where they want it to be.
