3.40 is 3.321 - I suggest you create a shortcut on your desktop for 3.40. If you have any problems with 4.0, open 3.40 and carry on. If 4.0 won't run on your version of Vista, use 3.40 until 4.10 is released.

2) If I use my old XP laptop while waiting for Vista version, can files we create like the Singers database be transferred to my Vista laptop, or will we need to start all over?

Any changes you make to Hoster will transfer to the upgrades that are coming. The only way you would have to start over is if you manualy delete any files. If you have to delete any files be sure to make a back-up and put the back after the issue has been addressed, this will keep you straight.

3) If I read it correctly - 4.0 can only import Audio? 4.1 will be able to import Video?

Again, you will not be able to import video in 4.0, this feature is sceduled to be in the next release.
