With the price of a 160GB SATA laptop drive from most of the vendors like Tiger Direct or Newegg. It makes sense. It was a fairly easy install. I did it when I upgraded from a 60GB to a 160 on my Dell Inspiron E1505. Stash the old drive away for future considerations.
