I cussed and swore for 5 minutes, but within about 40 more I had figured out what I needed to do to fix it. As I only play around with the program occasionally, I didn't have any further problems and hadn't checked for updates, since it was only a couple of months ago that I had upgraded. Tonight I was singing along, having a good time... One of the songs that I wanted to sing again reached the end and I didn't hit stop in time, so I closed the program and re-opened it. When I did, Hoster no longer could find my songs! I had a separate file as a back up, which also disappeared. I have activated hidden files for search criteria and have looked under *.kma as well as some individual song names. To make matters worse, I was able to find the songs under the search feature of Hoster, although it would not allow me play the songs or to add them to the playlist. So I thought I'd help things by re-building the database. Now I can't even locate the songs within Hoster's search feature. I do not want to have to re-import my 2400 or so songs if I can avoid it. Anyone have any advice for me? I'm tearing my hair out and probably won't sleep much tonight! Any thoughts will be much appreciated!!
(Sounds like Vista.) What operating system are you using?
