This is NOT the case, I just contacted HP to see about getting the XP disc & they said they do not/have not recommended anyone downgrade, nor offer XP on any of their systems. Nor do they recommend using a retail version of XP (for whatever reason) to replace Vista as the systems that are coming out with Vista may NOT be compatible with XP (I don't buy that one though).
