does the vista x64 have adequate 64 bit drivers to function for most software????

I bought the xp x64 and built a dualboot system only to find they didnt have enough drivers to make it compatible with most programs. I even tried the Mtu programs on it but at the time there was no hope.

I never did see enough of an advantage to use it a lot.
