One thing that comes to mind is what is the condition of the CDs? Are they scratched or dirty? Does it show error for the rest of the songs on those CDs?

If the Brand isn't listed then the diskID won't be either. However you can type them in then fill in the Titles and Artists for all the tracks on that CD. And you can find the DiskID on the label of the CD.
