I sure do wish we could get Scottie to beam you down a DVD hardware drive, but that technology hasn't been invented yet. However, we can ship one to you on Monday if you order today or tomorrow.

Try this test.

1. Run Hoster
2. Click the Tools menu and the CD/DVD Drives Default command
3. In the dialog box that appears, click the Detect Again button at the bottom center
4. Insert a NEW, not copied, CDG disc in your drive and continue the testing

This should do a more complete test than the "default" standard test. We don't require this as the default since you must insert a disc in your drive for testing.

If this shows NO for Kar Read, then you need a different DVD drive.

If this shows YES, then something else may be wrong.
