What version did you upgrade from?
If it is 4.00x then your registration code should already be in the block. If the code isn't there then check your store account for the registry code at the bottom of the original order.
If it is prior to 4.000 then it is not a free upgrade and you need to purchase the upgrade at which time you will get the new registration code.
