Unfortunately, your Temp directories could have been very full. This is a dumping ground for a lot of software, and it can get very wasteful. Now that you have both cleared out this directory, it is difficult to know for certain that a full C:\ drive was the culprit.

Bandl, are your units in Gigabytes or Megabytes? I assume Gigabytes, because these days hard drives are getting larger and larger. In any event, you would be amazed at how quickly 23 Gigabytes can be chewed up when you are working with audio and video files.

Admin and I are discussing how to address this problem. It may be an entry in the FAQ or Knowledge Base, describing a full drive and the cleaning of the Temp directory, as well as emptying the Recycle Bin. If the computer is truly out of free space, then there is little that the software can do to alleviate the situation.
