Hoster 3.317 and below ONLY uses Access 97. We are considering also supporting 2000 if feasible. However, the 97 "jetengine" is only 8MB, and the 2000 "jetengine" is 60+MB... which is not feasible to download.

The manual states "The Songs Database is in Access 97, 16-bit format. It can be opened and modified with Microsoft Access 97 or 2000. To use it with Access 2000, you must first convert it from 97 format to 2000 format, make your changes, then export it back to 97 format so Hoster can open it again."

You are trying to be a power user. You can do this, but you must follow the instructions above.

Dale is right. If you write the new Access 97 format Songs.mdb back to the correct folder, which is slightly wrong. The exact address is:
C:\Program Files\Micro Technologies Unlimited\Hoster\databases

Put it back here, in the right 97 format and Hoster will find and use it.
