Going back tomorrow to pick up the rest for back ups - hopefully if they are still there.

as for changing out the hardware on the laptop in question, it's my son's work laptop, so i don't think they want him getting inside there and changing stuff around. i bought a gateway with 1.6 processor and 502 meg ram (which i upgraded to 2gig for $80) from best buy. got the system with a bag for $350 bucks.
