Back to XP

Vista no more. Installed Windows XP. Took several hours to get all the updates and changes as well as creating an image for safety's sake. This is not a request for help. Just want to let those folks out there with Vista who are having issues know that you can go back. It does cost close to 90 dollars for oem version of Win XP Home, but to me it was worth it. Also, takes a while to download drivers and updates. Still well worth it. Although Vista did have some things I liked, it would not work very well on 1.5 gb of memory on my laptop. The good news is that XP blazes along quite well with 1.5g. Also, I had to submit a ticket to MTU to reinstall on my backup laptop. I did not get to that point until after 3 pm on Friday. I fully expected it to be Monday before the reset could take place. It took less than hour to get a response and finish my installation. Thank you MTU!!
