MTU has never required a tester to adopt a protocol they did not have. If testing was being done in an area the individual could not test in, they simply abstained from that phase of the testing, and MTU was always understanding.
Not trying to be confrontational here, but that statement has an implication that just is not so.

I didn't mean to imply that I had to leave it on for testing, just that I want to leave it on for testing.
Perhaps a better way of wording it would have been "If I made my living with this computer I'd have dumped Vista and installed XP."
