Now re-import your original CDG's to your original database directory
Hoster shows that they are already there, just re-import.
All the header info will be there.

Sounds like Gary's sugestion would work for keeping title and artist info intact but I wonder if it will keep your MPX and language and genre info. I've never tried reimporting an MPX song and I don't use language or genre info so don't know what you'll get there. All you can do is try one disk and see.
