Microstudio will do what you want.

Beavis has a good point regarding the size of a cdg file. Average 40-50 mg per song.

Another thing to consider is accessability. Normally as you import tracks to be saved on the hard drive, they are saved alphabetically. Now you're into hunt and peck to burn a duplicate disc.

Microstudio would solve that logistic problem. After importing a cdg disc to the hard drive, you could use the custom assembly feature and save them by the MFG. disc I.D. number. Then they could be easily recalled by Microstudio as a unit and a new disc burned.

Why not consider using Microstudio to do a disc copy, store the original, and only use it when the copy gets funky and a new copy needs to be made? Saves tons of hard drive space.

Another option, if you're talking a large number of songs is to use Hoster Lite, and play the tracks from a computer. Tracks imported iinto Hoster Lite are in a compressed format and don't take near the room as uncompressed files.

If you did that ,you could still use Microstudio to make custom discs to take to a show with the songs you want to sing, if you're into the Karaoke Club scene.

Several options, but your call, of course, depending on your needs.
