Kiwisinger, try using Hoster's Import Tracks > Import hard drive files command. I'm unclear whether you have MP3+G or ZIP files (which contain MP3 and CDG files with the same name).

If you have thousands of MP3+G or ZIP files (you called them CDG files), then you should import/convert them as KMA files so they appear in your Songs Database which allows quickly adding them for your Singers, and they print in your Song Book. Try doing this and let us know what happens.

TRY THIS: In the Import hard drive files screen, select either MP3G or ZIP, depending on what you have that you will test with, and follow the instructions to import a few of these into KMA format. I'd name them something you will remember, or, better yet, import them into a new folder that you can easily delete if the test fails. FYI: When you create a new folder in the Import hard drive files screen, it is AUTOMATICALLY added to the Tools menu Build Songs Database list so its files will be used in the future. The imported files are also AUTOMATICALLY added to your Songs.mdb Database for you.

Then, go to Hoster's main screen, and in the Add Tracks group, use the BookID button, or Brand button, or Search button to locate one of your just imported KMA files, and add it to the playlist, and play it.

IF THAT FAILS: Please attach one of your ZIP files to your post in this Thread so we can diagnose what is different with your files.

QUESTION: Where did you buy these files? We have never run into this problem before. Dale did have an excellent point that Sound Choice periodically embeds a "clear screen" command in their Karaoke disc files, where Chartbuster never does a "clear screen". What you have bought may not have "clear screen" commands either.

Sam's point of double clicking the Singer's Display (described in the manual under Display Screens in the Table of Contents), is also valid. There is less visual "damage" done when you double click the screen to the second display. However, doing this will prevent your Video window (plays .dat and other video files) from appearing on the second display. However, it might be useful to try this for your testing.

I have talked to our engineering and support leaders and we have no reason why this is happening. That is why we want to see one of your files that shows this problem. We could buy a file from your source, but then we really don't have the "identical" file that you have; they may have changed the downloaded files.

One other point: Be sure your TV is turned on BEFORE you power up your computer, or the video card will force itself to single-display mode.

Looking for your test results.
