My assumption here is that you load in your original karaoke disc (CDG) and store it on your hard drive via the Hoster software. From there, we can do whatever we want with the tracks, then use the MTU CDG burner to burn/create a custom disc for playback on a karaoke machine. My purpose is to record selected tracks from multiple karaoke disc onto a single disc. Does this sound right? If so, then it's exactly what I need.
I've been reading all MTU products, but please let me know what else is needed...
Thanks.

Hoster is a program that is used by Karaoke Hosts to run Karaoke shows.
If you want to import CDG tracks to the hard drive to do "what you want with", you would import them to the hard drive using Microstudio.
In either case you would need a cdg compliant burner. The device needs to be able to read/write cdg in order to import or burn cdg.
From what you said, Microstudio would be a must, along with a cdg compliant burner. You can use the Microstudio Demo to determine if your burner read/write CDG.
A tip for the future...You will be doing yourself a favor to start your own threads instead of tagging on to a thread completely unrelated to your question.
Hope this helps.
