When using a laptop that doesn't have a second VGA/DIGITAL OUT, I would suggest using a MATROX DUAL HEAD-TO-GO.
This will give you the correct way to interface to a Second LCD Monitor.

i just checked the prices on these things..they are expensive..maxview converter is a lot cheaper than matrox, which i think will do the same job
