The KMA files play in one Play Display and Video files in another. If you check the Manual, you'll read about this.

Thank you for reporting that 3.316 allows your Play Display (and thus your Video Display which uses the same screen settings) to be moved off the screen where you can't get to it. I'll have engineering check this. We "used to" have error checking code that prevented it from disappearing.

Are you running a dual-display video card, or a single-display card? If dual, and you don't have the TV plugged in before turning the computer on, often video cards won't "boot up" in dual mode. My guess is this is the problem and you had moved the Play Display screen to the second (TV) monitor.

As ddouglass pointed out, be sure you have the latest drivers for your video card, and motherboard also. You can find these at the manufacturer's web site. Use Start menu > Settings > Control Panel > System tab. If I am right, you will find your video card manufacturer, and your motherboard also. Then, use Google.com to locate these manufacturers, and you will find a "download" or "drivers" page where you can see the latest versions.

... read the manual on the displays.
