Unfortunately, windows would then not start up no matter what I tried. I had to open in safe mode and noticed that ALL of my songs were gone that I'd spent all week downloading...all of my settings were gone...
I am now trying a system restore. I should have known better than to install a new update until it had been tested for awhile.

Tony, all your KMA files are still in the folder you imported them into. 
Set your
Import CD Tracks screen "Save to Folder" to what it was before.
Then, be sure your Tools menu
Build Songs Database command shows this same folder. If not, add it, then click the Build Songs Database button to re-create your Songs Database with everthing you had imported earlier. Then they will appear in all the Hoster search and add methods.
WARNING! Rebuild your Songs Database BEFORE you import any more songs or you can end up with duplicate BookIDs, which can be renumbered with the Tools menu
Merge KMA Files command.
Its all there.
