Is there any advantage to purchasing one of the newer (and faster) Plextor drives (other than recording speed) for burning CD+G? That is, do the older drives produce worse (audio or video) quality copies. I am considering the Plextor PX-W8432Ti/SW. Does anyone know if this drive has a higher cd+g failure rate than other Plextor drives (i.e. higher than 1 in 5)

I plan to write only at 1x or 2x anyway so speed is not an issue. I will give up faster speed for better audio and graphics quality any day.

Also, does the microstudio software support a direct copy of a disk without using the hard drive. If not, Does anyone know of a software package that will do this.
