Can someone try to recreate this? I think I might have been closing out another program towards the end of the video, that's all I can think of.

Uh... I don't think anyone else will create your exact condition.
What probably happened is when you closed the "other program", it shut down Windows resources that Hoster was using, which causes our video player thread (Microsoft code actually) to get hung waiting for the resource that is no longer running.

As I said... probably.
Try playing your sixth video file that got hung. It may be a bad file. Other than that, don't open and close programs while running any other program, especially at a show. Just minimize it or click and drag it off the screen.
BTW: What was the other program so we know? After talking with our programmers, the consensus is it is that program that probably closed resources Hoster needed.
