I followed the instructions and promptly uninstalled and reinstalled the software while having an internet connection this time. It said to reboot, I restarted and it gave me two errors when loading the software that looked to to with ASPI. WinNTASPI cannot load from hardware registry. Errors along those lines.

I'm wondering if it's just the older software that does not work with Vista? I don't know if she qualifies for an upgrade or not. Does she simply have to buy the new version to ensure it works with Vista?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
The older versions are not certified for Vista. In fact a Vista certified version of Microstudio has not been released yet. That said I believe several have tried version 3.004 (latest release) and it has worked. She will need to buy an upgrade. Check the MTU website for details.
