Yes,
The Plextor drive is the exact same, just they add the TA at times and other times they don't. This drive will work with no problems.
The Sony Drive I believe is a Sanyo drive and will not actually do CD+G as it says it will. The older Sony drives such as the 140E, 145CH2 and the 100E models did work, but sometimes they would give you broken and distorted graphics so we don't recommend them.
