I'm not a techie but this is stuff I would try first if I were in your situation.

Was this both computers or just one of them?

Try checking the event viewer and see if it shows something else going on (besides the Hoster crash).

Also try running with the taskmanager open and see what the processes are up to at the time of the crash.

After trying an uninstal/reinstal you might also try one of your earlier versions. It's possible it's some kind of conflict between this version(3.313?) and his particular computer. It happens
