Can you go to the Start Menu, Type in DXDIAG, click open or Ok. On the first page, towards the bottom it will say DirectX version, this must say at least 8.0 and should probably go on up to DirectX 8.1. Once you have checked this, then click on the Display tab at the top. On the left hand side it will say Approx total memory and have some number, this must be at least 8.0mb, nothing lower, not even 7.5mb will work correctly. If it does show this, then I would try to update to the latest drivers for this built in Intel Graphics card from intels website.
