Just to start, thanks for all the support so far.
I am well versed in the Windows world, and frankly
if I had the choice I would be running Linux...but that is another story. All my diagnositics have checked out as far as the system is concerned. This is a preconfigured system (by the maker company - argh) of which I have stripped away all unecessary components. As of the start of all this, there are only bare essentials running in the background, with Virus scanners disabled. At the moment, I cannot figure what is going wrong...aka why it is crashing all the time. I understand that upgrading to a better video card would be useful, but at the moment, I am not going to just slap a Radeon card into this work machine. Is it really a better video card that is utterly crashing the program? I can understand if it were ghosting the lyrics....but the crashing? I just dont want to invest the man hours and cost to install the video card and then have it not work still. This workstation has no need for a graphics accelerator card. I am sorry to be such a pain about this, but I really cannot figure it out. I like this program, and I would really to see it work...and I meet all the requirements....this machine we're working with is only two weeks old.
