As in any case, there are pros and cons. I also use laptops for my shows. Always take two of them (one for backup). Problems have occured on both, even when they were brand new. they usually have to be sent away; takes 5 days for ell co., then you're stuck with one and no backup fro a show or two. Really scary but I take those chances and deal with it.
