O.K., now if you don't mind wasting a cdr, try the DUPLICATE DISC feature and see if you can successfully copy a CDG disc.
You may recall that to duplicate a disc, Microstudio burns an image to the hard drive, then burns it to a cdr. Be especially interesting to see if it will burn at all from the hard drive.
