Did you never have a failure in a computer part before? Is it MTU's fault that the Plextor drive we selected, tested and certified to do CDG failed after you inserted and removed 1000 discs?
Plextor drives are recognized as THE BEST in the world. Receiving 1000 discs... that's not "infant mortality", but it clearly had a manufacturing defect, which will be repaired under warranty.
Drives from some manufacturers often fail BEFORE you could insert/remove 1,000 discs. We don't sell those to our customers like a competitor did... before switching to the drives MTU sells.
Did you realize that MTU protected you from ever having to discover that poor quality drives exist? I have personally talked to customers who had bought as many as 6 different CDR drives that claimed to "do karaoke", before they discovered MTU.
None of their prior drives copied the lyrics. Their MTU drive copied the lyrics. We have been selling CDR drives since 1992, when Yamaha was $25,000 for a 1x burner, and the Denon (better quality) we sold was $16,000.
Why don't we ship two drives? Failures are so rare in our tested Plextor drives that we know it would be a waste of our customers money.

Please... post here what MTU has done that you vent against us... that you feel that you bought a freaking computer from MTU? After all the engineering review we do to select the best and most reliable components available today, I'm upset that you would feel MTU is at fault for this failure.
I'd like to know why... so we can try to do better in the future.
