I thought it might be the drive, so I went to windows explorer to remove the songs, and it said they were removed, but in reality they were still on the data base. The songs wouldn't play, but the title and book ID were still there.
I then tried loading the same disk using my trusty Plextor drive, and low and behold, the same thing happened with the screen quality. But, before I imported the disk the second time, I had to assign it a new book ID number, it would not allow me to import using the previous number. Now I have 2 book ID number the same, and one doesn't work.
So either the disk is bad (it is fairly new) or my plextor is becomming faulty, or the original import is still there and not being written over, or heaven forbid, 3.30 has an importing flaw....
Any comments are welcomed
Thanks

when you use Windows to delete songs instead of using tools/edit songs from within Hoster, the only way to remove the songs from the database and free up the rootids is to delete the file "songs.mdb" and rebuild the database.
As for quality try checking/unchecking the "software decodiing" box under select drives and see what happens.
