This is simply telling you the type of KMA. A CDCDG is a KMA imported from a CD. As opposed to a HDCDG which would be a CDG file created with microstudio and imported from the Hard Drive.There is also HDZIP HDMP3G HDBIN and VIDEO, and I'm sure other file types will be created at some point.

The file type info has no real importance to the average user, except that when there is a possible bug that effects some file types and not others it's useful info for MTU to have to help track down the problem.
