Bob you can retain your names.

The Import hard drive files screen's CDG button was specifically written to do exactly what you want to do.

Run Hoster

Click the Help menu Read Manual command to open the Manual

In Hoster, click Import Tracks menu and click Import hard drive files.

In the screen that appears, click the CDG button. At this point, you need to read the manual on Importing Hard Drive Files as KMA Files, about half way down the first column.

When importing, your names should be retained using this screen. You might need to experiment with importing using the correct Brand-DiscID convention, which will replace your names with the standard names (there are some errors in the Database and with discs that were produced with a second set of songs but the same DiscID number). If your Brand/DiscID are not in our Import Database, your names will be used. You will need to understand the "Define field order" fields to set them up identically to your filenaming convention, which appears to contain some of the info about each song track.

NOTE: Custom Brand-DiscID entries will allow up to 99 tracks per "DiscID", but if your filenames contain a DiscID and Track#, then they are used to determine what DiscID and Track# are used for each file.

You can also create your own Brand name, or choose one of the custom names, then assign a DiscID number. I'm 99.9% confident that will use your "custom" names.

The Demo does operate identically to the full version, so if for some reason the Demo won't keep your names (again, I'm 99.9% sure it can do this), then neither will the Full version.
