Why did we release with a bug? Gee wizz, it wasn't intentional I assure you. However, there are MANY screwball things in Windows (as there was with MAC-OS when we supported Apple) that are not known until you discover they create a problem. We have less than 20 folks who have hit this reset problem... out of thousands who use Microstudio.
We haven't been able to duplicate the problem yet, which is required to remove it. However, the 2.312 fix works fine.
