Your question is confusing. But no as I understand the question since they are already CDG's.
First of all you need a CD ROM that is CDG compatible to see the words and hear the music. If you don't have one you will only hear the music from the file when played from the CD ROM.
You only need a MP3 file if you want to create your own CDG by adding the kyrics to it in KHP.
