I have just tested this with my Built in Sound Card and it works fine. Microstudio does not loose the Sound when I click into other programs. What this means, is that your new Sound Blaster software is actually turning off the Audio when you go to use that. This is not a problem that we would beable to fix, they would have to disable killing the sound, when another program is playing audio.
Try going to any other program such as Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer or your Windows Volume Control and make sure it is still playing the audio when it loses the focus. Mine is working fine. This is using Microstudio 2.611.
