When it states that you have Bad Medium, this is a Buffere Underun, which means that something on your system is slowing it down. Here is the post that states what to try for this:

ANALYSIS: Your computer is not sending data to the CD-R drive fast enough.
SOLUTION: Find what is slowing down your computer.
- Run Windows Disc Defragmenter by going to the Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\System Tools\Disc Defragmenter.
- Run all of the Windows updates by clicking here.
- Run Spybot Search and Destroy to search for and remove Spyware from your computer.
- Update your Motherboard drivers from your computer manufacturer. These will be called the Chipset drivers or Motherboad drivers.
