1. You installed Nero or Roxio software that damaged the ASPI driver Microstudio uses to "see" the drives.
2. Some upgrade to Windows may (rare) have damaged something.
3. Something on your hard drive changed and requires Microstudio to be installed again.
Try these...
1. Change your Tools menu ASPI driver selection.
2. Run the Tools menu CDR Drive Default (sp?) command and select your drive again. Restart Windows after this just to be sure.
3. Reinstall Microstudio using the Update option.
