Glad to hear you were able to solve your video problem. Just goes to show there is always a solution and many different ways to approach a problem. The method that Bob and Flip reccomended to me worked out good for me, you got good advice too. It is great to have this forum where we all can share our experience to the good of others.
I had a similar humm problem and actually found it to be one of my mike's that I mount on the singer stand picking up the tranformer in the singer's TV. When I replaced it with a switchable mike that could be turned off, it is better. It is only for second singer anyway. will probably go to a second mike stand only using the setup for space saving I was in a tight space, the establishment was small. Anyway My motto is
Keep It Simple.
It just makes it more enjoyable especially for me.
