Videoman: You DO NOT need to rip and Burn. Hoster will IMPORT directly from an AUDIO CD.

Follow these steps:
01. Place Audio CD in CDROM
02. Open Hoster
03. Click Import From CD
04. Click the Drop Down Arrow that is next to the BRAND Box
05. Select ONE: CUSTOM ASSEMBLY, PRIVATE RESERVE OF MINE, UNKNOWN
.....BRAND, or Type in something new, like AUDIO, to establish a NEW BRAND.
06. Click into the DISCID Box and Type something relevant to the Audio
.....Disc that you are importing or simply type AUD01.
07. Click NEXT in the BOOKID to automatically have Hoster assign a BookID or
.....type in a UNIQUE BookID. A unique BookID must not be a BookID that is
.....already in use. For all AUDIO CDs, you may want to set aside a BLOCK of
.....BookIDs...like, starting at BookID 3000 or Higher, depending on how many
.....Karaoke CDs you have or plan on acquiring in your Karaoke Career. Just
.....remember that, if you choose to select BookIDs that are NOT-IN-
.....SEQUENTIAL-ORDER, you should make a note of the STARTING and
.....ENDING BookIDs so that you will know what BookID to assign when
.....Importing more AUDIO CDs.
08. Click READ DISC/READ DISC TRACKS/ADD DISC TRACKS TO IMPORT,
.....depending on which version of Hoster you are using.
09. Click SELECT ALL or Click individual Tracks Boxes to Import just what you
.....need.
10. Type in SongTitle and Artist info. CDDB is not available to Hoster.
11. Click IMPORT TRACKS/PROCESS TRACKS/PROCESS SELECTED TRACKS,
.....depending on which version of Hoster you are using.

DONE

I have followed the above steps using Brand=AUDIO, DisckID=AUD01, BookID=3000, entering SongTile and Artist info, selecting a Track, and Importing with success and the Tracks, once entered into the Hoster Playlist, via the newly assigned BookIDs, Played correctly.

This seems to be a lot of work, when considering that one needs to type in SongTitle and Artist info. It has been easier, for me, to use a second computer, a Laptop, that has a DJ program, which Plays Mp3s, hooked to a 2nd LINE IN on my mixer. All I have to do is push the FADER up and I have instant Mp3 MUSIC. Because I am using DJ software, all my Mp3s have the SongTitle and Artist pre-entered via the online CDDB database. From the, now known List of Songs, I can pick and choose, at will, the SINGLE Mp3 that I want to Play next or have a LIST of Mp3s Play in AUTO Mode, one right after the other.

I hope you will benefit from the LONG Post. I didn't see any way to spell-out what to do in a SHORT Concise Post.

Good Luck,
Norm
