If yes is the digital?? information there for it to read and write the track, artist etc... info.... ?

Last if I buy the disk for the program, can I download it from the internet at same time as to not wait for the disk ?? Last...I read you can back up to another computer, but that hoster will not run except on one computer.......Short of purchasing the software again, how do you re-load hoster in another computer along with all data for use in a new computer in the event the original hosting computer was destroyed, stolen etc.............?

Thank you
We believe that the MCG format is really a version of MP3+G with the filename extension changed. We will look at this today to see if we can verify that. If so, it will be trivial to convert and import MCG songs into our KMA format and store them in our Songs Database (full database, not a LIST as others have), and Song Books.

The only data Hoster looks at when importing files (CDG, BIN, MP3+G and ZIP) to obtain "pre-existing" data such as Title, Artist, etc. is from the FILENAME. If you embedded these "fields" in the filenames as you imported from CDG discs to CAVS MCG, then your data can automatically be used by Hoster.

When a customer has a problem with Hoster installed on a computer that fails, we now must manually delete the Registration Record in our database to allow reinstalling on a new computer. We have been working on a way to TRANSFER a Hoster registration from one computer (even if it is not working) to another. We plan to have this done by the end of August. It will be an option you can elect as it will require Internet connection at least 4 times a year. Then, users with this option can move their Hoster to a new computer, or reinstall it when major upgrades were done to their existing computer, without MTU intervention.
