Hoster 3.2 will allow importing with any CDROM, CDR, DVDR drives that supports RAW DAO96 format. We have totally rewritten our CD reading code. We hope to start beta testing this section of code next week. It will take a LONG TIME to test this before we feel comfortable to releas it.
Even after that, we expect to hear LOTS of complaints from folks who think ANY CDROM/CDR/DVDR is JUST AS GOOD AS PLEXTOR!!!! Not so.
Plex is the ultimate drive. PERIOD!!
I KNOW.... folks will go buy the cheapest darn junk drive they can find, then blame the poor results on MTU's Hoster, when reality is their drive is reading in garbage data and telling our software it is "good data".
If I'm wrong, I'll be a VERY happy camper.... 
I know... don't get my hopes up too much.
