I've recorded all my video disks (lasers, VCDs and DVDs) to my computer as .mpg files. You can't play them through Hoster though (keep waiting for this functionality to come out
) - I currently use Windows Media Player; it still beats dragging a player and disks to a show. Doing this requires a device to record the video to your PC (under $100) and it looks just like it would if it were on a player. Way cool!
