No, the system has not crashed yet with the beta version on the laptop, which is a pentium 4 3.3. I have not had a chance to try the beta version 3.104 in the AMD Athlon 3000 yet. I am anxious to see how it will act. If the AMD crashes that would mean it had something to do with the AMD, I would think. I will try the AMD this Friday and I will let everyone know how it works.

I am using an AMD with 3.006 and I haven't had any problems with mine at all.
I UPGRADED from 3.000 to 3.006.
