Boy did I kick a hornet's nest by asking that question. My question to minonstrike was based in an incident I had at my venue. I had a patron, tell a couple of my singers not to bring me their own disc to play in Hoster, becasue one of my competitors told him that I was ripping off their music everytime I stuck it in my machine and uploaded it, which is the farthest thing in the world from the truth. I wouln't think of downloading anyone's personal disc, for the same reason I won't copy my hard earned collection or anyone elses collection though I've been approached hundreds of times to do so by my competitors.
