That's because Keyrite will change keys on either CDG or .WAV tracks and CDG is the default in the box that opens in Keyrite. The Songlist doesn't contain any CDG files yet, because you probably haven't saved any there, so it appears to be empty.
Click on the arrow next to the FILES OF TYPE block in the pop up box, and select .WAV
You should then see your regular audio(.WAV) tracks in your Songlist.
